This year’s Parkside National Small Print Exhibition opens on Sunday, January 20 from 1-4 pm. Karla Hackenmiller was the juror; and, she selected 100 prints out of over 900 from around the nation. I got one piece into the show!

Although I will not be at the opening, you should definitely check out the exhibit if you are in the area. It looks to be one of the strongest small print exhibitions that Parkside has had since I started going to the exhibit in 1991. The exhibition catalog is online! The exhibition runs from January 20 until February 21.

    Vermont Studio Center Residency

    Monday, July 9th, 2007

I participated in a one-month residency at the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson Vermont. There were two other printmakers and many painters, sculptors, and writers invited to spend time focusing on creative works. While there, I worked on finishing pieces for a solo exhbition and began a new direction in my art. I found the uninterrupted time to be quite productive and finished 31 pieces there. The new work can be found on my flickr page.
