My work will be included in a series of group exhibitions this year, including my new mezzotint. The details are as follows:
25th Parkside National Small Print Exhibition
David Jones was selected to be the juror of this year's exhibition. My print, Serenity, was chosen for the exhibition along with 95 other prints. The exhibition will be held at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside's Fine Arts Gallery from January 23 through March 30 with a reception on February 23 from 5-7.
Art Now: Printmaking
Two of my prints were selected by juror Tyanna Buie to be included in the Art Now: Printmaking exhibition at the Ann Arbor Art Center. The prints selected for this exhibition include Serenity and Scattered and will be on view from February 3 through March 4. A public reception will be held on February 3 from 6-9.
Students of David Holmes
My work will be included in an exhibition honoring the legacy of David Holmes. Former students were asked to write a short statement that outlined his influence on their work and curator, Amanda Brown, selected the works to be included in the exhibition. It will be held at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside's Mathis Gallery from March 10 through April 19 with a reception on April 1 from 2-4.
My new mezzotint, Still, will be included in a themed portfolio that will be exhibited at the Southern Graphics Council International Conference in Atlanta on March 17. Mary Hood curated the Slowness portfolio and selected enough artists to break it up into three groups. My print will be in Slowness 1. All three groups will be exhibited on March 17 from 9-7 at the Loews Hotel, Dunwoody Room.
